I look in to the depths of your ocean blue eyes

To see your gratitude and concern

I admire your graceful body

With you being completely ignorant

Oh how I wish you will reciprocate my feelings

How I wish you'll love me as I do

But my love is doomed

For you have him at your side

I pray for Agni to banish you from my thoughts

For I know you'll never be mine

But no matter how much I pray

They return back to me unanswered

How I wish our circumstances are different

So that I can claim you as mine and only mine

I spend long and lonely nights

Longing for your soothing and tender touch

For you are as calm and soothing as your element

Yet fiery and passionate like mine

I thirst for you as a man needs water to live

Oh how I wish to drink deeply of you to quench my thirst

To satisfy my burning desire and need

You're the only woman for whom my heart burns

I wish you were here by my side

Yet you are not mine to claim

For he has already claimed you and you'll never be mine
